Collaborations and Partnerships
❖ Brooklyn College: Students in all grades visit Brooklyn College for full-day programs that introduce them to college experiences and expectations.
❖ New York City College of Technology: Bridging the Gap Program for our 7th- and 8th-grade students who take courses on Saturdays during the fall and spring semesters.
❖ Urban Advantage: A standardsbased partnership designed to improve students’ understanding of scientific inquiry through collaborations between urban public school systems and science cultural institutions.
❖ Center for the Arts: The Center funds arts programs that enrich our students’ learning experiences by incorporating components of theater and visual art into our core curriculum.
❖ Model United Nations for Middle Schools: Our students debate and experience a taste of diplomatic relations. Students use their communication skills and apply the knowledge they have gained in their ELA and Social Studies classrooms. They also learn to use their higher-level thinking skills and sharpen their critical writing skills.
